Builtech Construction was engaged by Mid-America Asset Management in 2008 to perform a complete re-work of the existing building’s façade. The rework included new foundation, pedestrian walkways, parapet walls, masonry, stucco, roofing, lighting, and awnings. The exceptionally busy shopping center stayed open throughout construction with very limited disruption.

The entire pedestrian walkway, specifically, was prepared, inspected and poured in one pour, overnight to ensure a consistent aesthetic and ensure no impact to the tenants, including Starbucks, McDonalds and Big Apple Bagels which open at 5AM.
